Probably not a bad idea, so should be pretty quick then. Am I good with just the MV Agusta tool kit? All my tools are in my dad's shed, I don't have them here in my apt.

From what I remember..

You'll need a 3mm and a 5mm allen wrench to remove the tank and a 10mm socket to remove the bracket holding the SPU box.

SPU damaged in transit

So I recieved the SPU this past weekend as I said, I took the bike apart and went to put the new one in, and it is all cracked up
See the Vesuvio section for pictures. so i am sad, hopefully khameron or vesuvio will get back with me asap to mend the situation.

I've heard they're great to deal with by many of you which is why I chose them. so here's to waiting

You live in Ohio and went to Europe for parts? Vesuvio is great and all that, but you can get MV parts from any number of US dealers....and probably cheaper after you figure shipping from the EU...

Anyway, I hope you get it all sorted out. Sucks to be dealing with this stuff when the spring weather beckons.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

I called a dealer in Detroit and whoever was on the phone couldn't get past the fact that I just wanted the damn part. I didn't want to bring it in to have them look at it, I didn't want them to put it on for me. Thats what I like about internet dealers. You say this is what I want, here's the money, thanks. Simple.
