Headlight

I recently installed a HID low beam, it worked great for awhile, but now stopped working entirely. I know that the bulb still works, since when I change it from low beam to high beam in comes on for a brief moment...could a relay have gone bad or the headlight switch? Thx.

Where is your ballast and igniter in relation to the bulb? The ballast sends a pulse signal to fire the bulb before sending a steady voltage. If the ballast is close to the bulb, I imagine it might have gone bad internally, however those things are pretty solid. I would find out if there's a bad ground connection that may have "tweaked" out the ballast. Where did you get the HID kit from?

Richard -- the easiest thing to do would be to check and see if you still have 12v + to the ballast. Wanna swing it by and we'll take a look at it?
