910R info, euro2 or 3, exhaust?


I am advising a friend on a 910r purchase. I have done quite a bit of searching but I am still not sure about which 910r to buy.

He has a 2007 white in focus. Is it a euro 2 or 3?
What exhaust should it have (were the UK bikes delivered without the racing exhaust?) ?
If it is the stock exhaust and he would like to put on a full Arrow system later. Will it require a new EPROM or he could just install the exhaust system and ride it?

Which one should he go for (Euro 2 or 3)?
Sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find definitive info.

the white 910 is a 2007 in Europe a 2008 in the US. Euro 3 spec. Did not come with a kit exhaust.
Requires a new ECU . Suggest you contact Chis...X81

Another friend who has just upgraded to a Brutale 1078 would sell his Arrow complete system for a 1000 euros.

So, if I am right he would have to purchase the system for 1000 euros and then buy an ECU which would be another 1000 euros?

Or the other option is to go for a 2006 version with Mv corse slip-ons and ECU. There is one on UK Ebay with around 7K miles.

Which one would you recommend (supposing that both are carefully maintained)?

I also tried to gather some info on the cutting out issue, but as the relevant thread has 43 pages, I might have missed some important points. Is it safer to go with the later model with regards to this or they are all the same? How can you check it in this weather if the bike has this problem (it isn't too hot outside) and if yes, how can it be a 100% cured?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but it is better to get informed beforehand than be sorry afterwards. I don't want to talk him into a bike with which he might have some issues, after having spent some serious money on it.
