? about 910R headers

Are OEM headers stainless? If I use sandpaper or wirewheel to clean them, will they return to the golden color with with use once installed? What would be the best course of action if I wanted them (and midpipe) to be black? Ceramic, powder coat?

As far as i know, yes the OEM headers (with "MV Agusta" on them) are stainless. Nothing is going to return them to a gold colour, as they are a silver colour to start with?? I lightly clean mine with brasso on a damp cloth - comes up nice and does not leave any stratchs.

If you want to coat them... HPC-type coating is the best way to go!

You can kind of see it here: http://www.hpcoatings.com.au/pages/motor.htm

Cheers, Simon
