My new B4 1078RR is home

If I was into having sex with inanimate objects, I would be boning like a porn star tonight as I have a rather unhealthy attraction to my new bike!

Just put on my custom seat, bar ends and axle slider.

Brand new with 8kms on it. As far as I know the only new 1078RR ever registered in Western Australia. Some may have been brought in from overseas / out of state but I have never seen a 1078RR on the road here so they are quite a rare site.

They feel quite a bit softer and gentler on the throttle than my 910R when it was stock. Looking forward to installing the microtec in this beast once its run it.

Great bike, but be aware. The 1078 is a snake-like. It can bite hard and it does not forgive any errors.

Thanks. Yes, it is not a bike to be disrespected I know. Softer than the 910R as in plusher suspension, and gentler in not being as snatchy on the throttle....... but much more powerful and angry for sure. I have been researching the reputation these have for long time and chose it over the 1090 because I am used to the 910r and did want want somthing that felt too radically refined in comparison.

I have been running the bike and enjoying riding the tidal wave of torque.

Came home and it stated dumping a lot of coolant out of the overflow pipe. Is this normal of have we got off to a bad start?

EDIT: hope its just the typical burping....but it was a LOT of coolant. When cold, its well below the min level?
