Top Naked Bikes

Hi Guys, I tried to do search the topic of the top naked bikes on this forum. What are the top 5 nakeds?. The brutale being at no 1....what would be the next 4 bikes (so we get a rating of 1 to 5)?

Look forward to your replies.

Michael

I think even though this is primarily an MV forum, there are a lot of fans and owners of Monsters, Benellis, Triumphs, Aprillias and the like, but few Japanese 'nakeds'.
Lots of other Japanese sportbikes, mainly for track days it seems, but they just don't offer any true nakeds; Seems to be the exclusive realm of the European brands.

Triumph S3 would have to be #1, with the Street Triple

in the top five as well.

I don't think you can beat the overall comfort, handling, styling, and performance of the S3 (and yes, I've owned two of 'em)

Second would be the Ducati Monster (yes, I currently own one), third would be Brut (yep, got an '08), fouth the Street Triple, and fifth...who cares about fifth...but honestly, I'd consider the Kawasaki KLR bikes as naked as naked gets and would put them at fifth.

To me the top 5 naked bikes are:

1. Brutale
2. Monster
3. BMW K1300
4. Yamaha new Vmax 2009
5. KTM Super Duke

Sorry, Speedtriple is not my choice, even though it's a good bike. But just don't like it.

To me the top 5 should be:
1. Brutale - still the most beautyfull out there
2. Monster
3. Streetfighter - not exactly a beauty, but a cool ride.
4. KTM - Super Duke
5.Speedtriple - with another headlight

And yes no jap bikes - perhaps the new Zed could be cool - with som modifications.

Cheers and happy new year

1) Brutale 910 R (white)
1) Bimota DB6 Delirio

That's my top 5

It's better to burn out then to fade away
