Custom-made frame savers for Brutale available for purchase

Hi guys,

I had my '06 910S over at BRG Racing for a power commander and custom FI map setup, and while I was there KC who runs the shop asked me about frame savers (I had none). I told him I didn't like the big ones that stick out far, so being the tinkerer that he is he machined a set for me without asking! I think they came out great, they don't stick out far but they are large enough to save the frame and tank in a lowside.

What's cool is that I've read that on the MV motor the mounts are very fragile, and frame savers with a long bolt through the oval hole in the frame can do serious damage to the motor in a crash as they put a lot of leverage force on the motor mounts. To combat that KC made a custom oval aluminum spacer that fits perfectly in the oval hole.

The photos aren't that great but you can get an idea of how they look. KC can make these for anyone else, they will fit all Brutales except the new 2010's with the new frame. Cost is $150 for the pair and it'll take him a couple days to turn around. His info can be found here (he also does an incredible job with dyno tuning):

Cool setup. They're 1/2 hour away for me: I'll visit them in January.
