2010 1090RR good price???

Hi Gang,

I am looking at a local 2010 Brutale 1090RR with only 8000 miles. Perfectly maintained, brand new tires and fluid. I can get the bike for $6900. Includes the keys and manual.

Only issue I see is the owner installed bar end mirrors and doesn't have the stock mirrors...this means I have no front turn signals! Are the stock mirrors hard to get ahold of used or new?

Is $6900 a good deal?

That bike did not have turn signals in the mirrors....that is a smoking deal.

The 1090RR does have turn signals in the mirrors, unless you boys got a different version over there ?

Um strange, all the pics I can find show indicators in the front mirrors eg : https://www.totalmotorcycle.com/phot...-Brutale1090RR
And the part numbers are the same for 2010/2012 1090RR.

Sorry Rich I was wrong, yes the RR always came with the indicators - the R (or 1090) did not.

Yep....I didn't realize the RR had mirror blinkers..... but you can still install aftermarket blinkers on the front in the same manner as the regular 1090 and all the Brutales before. That's easy and inexpensive.

The bike is a smoking deal. And the stock mirrors are crap anyway. I replaced mine with bar ends so I could actually see behind me.

What do you guys feel the bike is worth if 6900 is a great deal? Any areas of concern I should check on this bike?

The late B4 bikes are well sorted and bullet proof..... There are no real weak spots to look at if it has been properly maintained.

Low miles, new tires and the top of the line Brutale.... it's worth more than $7k.... at least in my opinion.

But like any bike, only worth what a person is willing to pay for it. MV Agustas are rare birds with a limited buyer pool (many falsehoods and fears amongst the less knowledgeable motorcycle buyer pool).

...and if you want to go to mirrors that mount in the original locations with turn signals, the Rizoma Naked L are the way to go.
