How to store my 910R if it is not going to be used for 5-10 years.

When I see that my Brutale is almost not being used, I have decided to put it away. As it is now, it will be more useful to stand in the hallway at home.

The question then is which preparations should I make? Should I empty it for oil, coolant, fork oil and more? Or is it enough if I empty it for gasoline?

The plan is that I will bring it back om the road when my children are old enough to drive.

Rid it of gas, pull the battery, spray a cylinder protectant in through the spark plug holes and call it a day.

It takes a lot of discipline to leave a bike for that long.

As an alternative, would you consider a 'test store' of say, 6 months? If so, just put appropriate fuel stabiliser in tank and battery on tender.

Then, if you're committed to long-term store follow advice above

I would worry a bit about leaving the clutch and brake fluid for that long. Perhaps change them annually?

Change the brake and clutch fluid when making the bike roadworthy again.
