Unhappy B4 1090 Market

While we are on the Brutale topic, it looks like the B4, especially of the 1090 variety have disappeared off the market. I know that not many were sold, but remember always seeing at least 2-3 for sale at any given time especially in such a large market as Southern Cal. Is there any correlation with the fact that MV has stopped the B4 production until a new bike comes out in 2 years?

Rare as hen's teeth....if you have one you aren't selling...... and who can blame the owners. They have the best bike out there.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

I'm quite happy with mine. Looking through bikes for sale is somewhat of an addiction. See plenty of B3 bikes though

Essentially, the 1090 and the 1078 Brutales are the same.

I don't recall seeing any 1078 up for sale during my search, at least in the area of Southern Cal. I noticed that 1078 get a lot of love on this here forum. Is it a better performing model?

It is the engine of choice. The 1078 preceded the 1090 and they both have the 1078 engine.

The 1078rr is the gruntiest and the meanest out off all the Brutale, and with no electronic aids to tame this wild beast. Its worth holding on to it.

I know I haven't been on in a few months due to a move, but if your looking for a 1090 mine may sadly have to go up for sale soon. It's a 2011 1090r in the gorgeous blue and white.

Had mine for nearly 3 years. Still happy with it. See no reason to part with it even though I rarely ride it.

I think it's about emission rules in europe.

the emission rules is euro 4 now, but the B4 still in euro 3 so they are not able to sell it anymore. (it's seems to be an exception for F4 that is also in euro 3 but maybe it's because it's run in WSBK... i don't know)
