Brutale 750 2004 Model,
Wont start, has fuel pressure and spark.
Have fitted new plugs and still no start.
All fuses and connection on the ECU is good.
When you crank it it seems to sound like the timing is out put the ignition pick up is in place and the ignition timing plate is tight.

The bike was running around, then it just dies, after that we check everything and put new plugs n check all the connectors n ecu all look fine, check the fuel pressure all fine n still wont start. it was running fine before we even put new Plugs.

I think you need to remove the tank and re check everything. Make absolutely sure the connection at the ecu is correct. If one little pin is bent, or the metal clip that holds the main plug into the ecu is not connected that will cause all sorts of problems.

Second make sure that your fuel fittings are not leaking or cracked, and make sure none of your hoses are kinked. A kinked hose would certainly allow the system to build pressure, but not allow any fuel flow.

If that does not solve the problem, go back to the old plugs. Perhaps something is wrong with the new plugs you bought.

You did not mention if you had an alarm. If you do, remove it. That also is a source of electrical problems.

Fuel pressure is only part of the equation. Fuel volume is also needed. You can have good pressure readings but not flow enough fuel in operation when the filter is plugged up.

Maybe just as simple as plugged filter. This has been a common problem in some areas of US with poor quality fuel and old/dirty storage tanks.

Egads.....who last had the cams out? That should not happen if proper service procedures followed.

Hope this isn't tooooo costly.

Really??? no one has ever checked the valves? This bolt would be removed during adjustment of valves.

Anyway, hopefully it won't be too costly.
