Crash protectors

Have just bought R&G crashprotectors for the frame on my 910 for track day use.

Do any of you know how much torque I must use to tighten the bolts?

Thanks

I low sided on track with R&G protectors and I can testify that the work really good. The crash was on my F4 and I was coming in to a curve to quick and with the knee down I felt the bike slid away.

So the speed was 100 km/h and the only damage to my bike was.

Upper crashprotectors down to 2/3 of it length.
Lower crashprotectors just minor scratching.
Rotary pickup cover got some really minor scratches
Gear toe piece down to 2/3 on it but not bent or anything

On the photo the upper crashprotector is turned and the scrathes on the racing fairing is from the previus owner (of the racing fairing) who made som "customization for easier fitting" according to ebay

So go ahead and buy!!! made my day!

Thanks for the pics zeta

Nice to hear that they actually work. Definitly going to mount them before my next trackday in september.

Actually in Sweden - on Knutstorp. We don't have any proper racetracks in Denmark

Oww!!
Thats harsh!!
you know i saw that the GSXR 's now have thier covers with removable/replacable pucks.
Do we have anything like that or do we have to buy from the manf.?
and how much would that run for a new cover??
cause if it aint cheap for a new one, i am just going to drill the holes in mine and make my own removable case puck.

Italian outfit, Rubber, heat, grunting, and you fill the open hole for more?? What's not to love??
