Brutale Just Stopped!

Still running in my 750 @ 500km on the clock, cruising around a roundabout at low speed and she just stopped!
A quick hit on the starter and we were on our way again.
Anyone else experienced this? Why is it so?

Typical problem caused by faulty fuel mapping seems to be the general consensus. It should be fixed when you get your first service.

Hey byronmv,

Kind of having the same problem. When I pull the clutch in the rpms will drop to idle, but die and not hold idle. My bike spent two weeks at the dealer and they couldn't figure it out, but then again my dealer is terrible!! I have continued to ride and have not seen the problem again. I have been blipping the throttle though, so that may be why its not dying. If the problem resurfaces I will be taking my bike to Corse(WI), where true professionals can work on it. I am also wondering if it could have just been a bad tank of gas. Have you filled up at a low grade gas station lately?

Mine fixed itself after a couple thousand miles or so. Dealer couldn't find anything wrong at 700 miles but hasn't happened since then.

Howya goingīmate, orright?
Holy guacamole,...how else get a Brute smoking... hmmm, actually, I havenīt got the foggiest what else is a goer....
Only, if you put grass in the tank, you prolly get kettle of fish, I think
(hope I didnīt flog a dead horse with my Aussie slang.... )

In Brisbane lives my veryvery good friends, almost like rellies. 2001 me and my ball & chain visited them after 7 years, and they took us to Byron Bay, Gold coast etc. To us Byron Bay was fantasamagorical! Hope to have one day the possibility to visit there again!
Now Iīll sink a few and clean my garage, but it would be nice to chew the fat again with you! Have a happy weekend!

G'day Mike
Yeah, give the slang a miss, leave it to us colonials to bugger up the language!
What the .......... has a kettle of fish go to do with anything, anyway?
Good to hear you and the 'trouble and strife' visited Brissy and us ferrals down at the Bay, there's certainly some great riding around here to be had.
Most of this fast and furious stuff on the Bruty is new to me having had numerous
H-Ds and also currently a Beemer1200RT, so all this talk of performance & stuff is great.
What's a Starfighter?
Cop u later!
