Shifter set-up

I've tried a couple of different postions on my gear shifter and it just doesn't feel right. Has anyone come up with a position that works? The pegs are still on the standard postion and I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

i had to mess with mine too. I moved the peg so that it was the max distance from the shifter (it rotates), I also rotated the shifter down on its spline til it felt good.

Thanks guys.

I've had the same problem with the pegs. I get better grip with my timberlands than I do with my alpinestars!

I'm going to go and adjust the peg position now. What kind of numbers on the dial have you moved them to?
