910R Chip

Write i bought my 910R in March 2007, had the upgraded chip, collector box and end cans fitted, it then started cutting out at the lights and when i pull up when it is warm, i have had the fuse/cdi box replaced and it made no difference, theey said they would order me a new chip, this was 3 months ago, they now say the upgrade chip is no longer being sold and they have fitted the original one back onto alot of bikes with this problem and it has seamed to have cured it.

what do you think, part of the origanal package was the upgrade to suposadly make it better, if i put the origanal chip back in does this not defeat the object of the upgrade?, will it make it better?, or are they just trying to get out of sorting it?
