Could use your expertise on headlight options

Gents (and Reopropf) -

Here's an odd question for you... I've been thinking for awhile of picking up a Brutale, and, of course, I'd want to modify a few things.

For those that have one, how hard does it look to do away with the headlight? Sure, sure... that sounds blasphemous. BUT, I like the idea of smaller headlights, multiple in number.

Imagine the Brutale (pic below stolen shamelessly from Gladio's album)...

...with the Confederate headlight combination (either 2 or 3 small lamps, offset)

Anyone have a feeling for how hard this would be? I'd assume there's some electrical reconfiguration, and brackets. As I don't know how the Brutale headlight is held in place, I'd appreciate your thoughts on how much fab work would you think would be needed to retrofit the front end to hold smaller PIAA lights.

Thinking of lights like these:

http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/p-9000.html
http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/p-1000xt.html
http://piaa.com/Lamps/Lamp-pages/1100x.html

Whatcha think it would take? Is the factory lamp just held by two bolts to the bracket? Is the bracket bolted to the front end, or welded in? Etc.

Tclinton, when I get a Brutale I will be doing the same mod. I think it makes the Brute look so mean while still remaining sexy. Like Angelina Joile in Mr and Mrs Smith.
No matter what you do to your bike we will still love you.

Personality is what you show of yourself daily.

Character is what comes out under adversity. (Think about that)

I thought about it........then I switched from generic to name brand crack!

Seriously though, check out the Furia/Moto Guzzi that Ghezzi and Brian (www.ghezzi-brian.com) have built. I think its what your looking for, and you can probably buy the bracket (have to mod it a little im sure) and lights from them. I have been a big fan of their bikes, its amazing what the build around a tractor motor.
