120/70 Sportec installed

Installed a 120/70 and 190/50 Metzler sportec M1 (old sportec) in the brutale and handles really well. Raised the rear ride height 1/2 turn (about 5mm) and tyre wear to the edge balances nicely front and rear (slight rear bias of course) and no signs of the front rubbing anywhere.

Thanks for posting the info, blacky. I've never felt quite right on 70 fronts, but it's nice to know they can work. Have you had any fender clearance issues?

No fender clearance issues at all on this tyre. Did you raise the rear ride height to match the taller front (Ok I know you should really drop the front, but as its a 1 min job on the brute to raise the rear I tried that). On the 120/65 settings it felt like it didn't want to turn in and wanted to push wide when in the bend.

Always personal preference though.
