New SPU = No headlight, old is fine....

I fitted a new SPU from Starwind to my B4 and everything appeared fine except the low/high beam didn't work.

All connections and bulbs were checked, as were both the fuses (albeit only visually) and everything appeared OK.

I popped the old SPU back in and everything worked fine.

I've searched through old threads and it seems this has happened before with no power from the SPU to the headlights being the cause. However I can't find a resolution.

I'm currently assuming the new SPU is defective and will need to be swapped?

Any ideas?

What is you SPU part number and you last few digits of your VIN? Did check this post. http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showthread.php?t=41943

Did you order the correct SPU?

I did. There was some debate here: http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showth...&highlight=spu

But ST also checked and confirmed.

Certainly sounds like defective part....everything else works fine?
You should contact StarTwin about exchanging.

Yep all other electrical components worked fine including the fan kicking in when required.

I've dropped ST a line so we'll see what they suggest.
