Deciding between 09 910s and new 15 1090

Hi everyone, having lots of self debate and discussion about two options I have , but I wanted to know your opinions as well

Option 1: 2009 910s with 10,000 miles , very good condition , comes with power commander 3, cat delete, near new tires and bar end mirrors. Has rear hub replaced but hasn't had a proper and full service ( specially the 6k one with valve clearance. I have to pay for shipping which is around $300 as I won't be able to ride it back . The price is $7400 ( with shipping and service )no warranty as its private sale

Option 2: new 2015 1090 standard , from a local dealer 10 mins away from me, standard 2 year warranty . Stock clearance at $ 12000 ride away

Which one would you choose ? And why?

How good is the TC, ABS and engine modes are on 1090 per your experience ?

Thanks

Well a lot of factors come into play, how tall are you,if tall 1090
Comfort 1090
Tc and abs I don't need them, but you might want it.
Are you going to do a lot of riding and long rides get the 1090
Are you going to keep it for a long period 1090 less mechanical issues
If you want max power and torgue at 8200 rpm 910
1090 max is at 10000 rpm close enough
Honestly the 1090 is the better choice, the suspension is not as hard as the 910
If you have the dollars go the 1090
Cheers eddy
Then again if it was a 1078 ?

New '15 with warranty is the way to go. At least that's what I did.

1090 HP and torque always win at the end in most cases.

I feel the need, the need for corner speed!

It's like chosing between a cheeseburger right off the grill, or one that someone already took a bite out of.
