Is the 750 history?

Hi, new to this forum and considering a new 750 Brutale
I can buy one $4-5000 less than a 910 here in Australia. The list price is $2000 difference. I've asked the dealer (who's also the importer) if the 750 is being discontinued - he says no, however I'm a little suspicious.
All you guys post on the 910, is the 750 gone in the US?
If not, has anyone heard if it's going?
Thanks

750 = not made anymore....however...it's not "obsolete"...it's still a great motor, and parts will still be "readily" available..

MV have said they will build the 750 as long as there are orders in. I don't believe it is still being built nor will it be any time soon. My opinion.

really?? if so, did they say how the "new" 750 would be priced compared to the 1000 and 910?

I'm not sure I was clear, sorry. They said they will build as long as there was demand. There was no demand hence no more built as far as I know.

No you were clear, but I was just wondering how they would price it if people were to order it, and also was wondering if there were any orders at all for the 750...

Perhaps the dealers are not even aware of the possibility?

I guess no one wants the 750 anymore, bigger is better

Question

Actually, my first choice was a 750, but the dealer said it wasn't being built no longer. What's strange is that they haven't removed it from the official web...don't know what they're playing

Yeah, interesting, it's still on the Italian site as well.
The importer is pretty keen to move them at a $5k discount so maybe it's a fact.
Still the 750 really sings - just as quick only less torque.

Let's face it guys, the 750 was a dissapointment to many who tried it out. The SV 650 naked has more go power. Granted a beautiful piece of work, etc. The Oro at Barber Museum is still at the entrance as you begin touring the first floor and grabs the attention of everyone, but the 910 was needed to get M V back on top.

The SV is certainly NOT faster than the 750, I don't know where you get that from.
