Arrow Looking to buy 2010 Brutale 1090RR

Hi everyone I'm new here so I hope I'm not breaking any protocol with my first questions.

A little about me, I have been riding since 1984 mostly sport bikes. My preferred riding is canyons and trackdays. My current bike is a 2012 Tuono V4R.

So I'm looking to purchase a 2010 Brutale 1090RR with just under 12K miles. I was wondering about reliability, valve service intervals and pricing.

With the milage on this Brutale am I looking at doing a valve inspection right away?

Any known issues with this bike?

Dealer is selling this Brutale for $8,599 out the door cost is around $9,500, is this a good price?

Here is a link to the web page where the bike is being sold.

Hey thanks everyone I appreciate any input and patience given to a MV newbie

Nick

Welcome Nick - close.

@donsy will probably move this to the for sale/wanted section within the Marketplace category....best of luck.

it's a fair priced bike with relevant miles.
fluids/filter would be my questions and what I review for immediate work
valve clearances are checked @ 24,000 km so they should be fine.
the 1090rr came with a some special components and if the arrow exhaust has been added...was there any ECU tuning ?

...all details you can review/update post purchase

Looks pretty fair and in good condition though.

Cheers

looks good ,but i will tell you a story that happened over here in oz ,A guy had a 1090rr in a work shop and he put on a corsa hydroform exhaust without any tuning done ,guess what he warped the head from extreme heat ,thats what the mechanic told me . Just my 2 cents worth .but it looks good and you should get warranty with the bike ?.

cheers eddy

I have a 1090RR with a similar exhaust...full titanium MV Corse...it is an excellent bike and will serve you well.
Mapping after exhaust work is indeed required and should have been done by the installer...ask.
