Thumbs down my Brutale finally had a problem

yes, the bitch finally had a problem........in 29,000+mi

changed the wheels.......tires were done , had a set of Superlights with almost new tires on them.....

took the Mg Marchesinis off......while changing the brake dicsc I checked the wheel bearings

both were fucked

gee thanks MV could you idiots have used smaller bearings????

guess not.......just checked my bearing interchange catalog.......there is nothing lighter duty than "extremely light series"

MORONS

in ~ 1,450,000 miles I have seen 3 bad wheel bearings, add to that every bike I've ever been around

just 3......

1 on my KTM 640 Duke ll
and now 2 on my MV

Noel, not sure of your take on ceramic bearings but have you looked at Performance Bearings?

No, Tim, just the fronts, no bearings in the rear wheel

and it's no picnic to get the POS out without a real puller

the inner spacer is already modified to make it a snap
