Pulled the trigger

Pulled the trigger on a 2007 Brutale 910R last week with 77xx miles on it. I am having running issues as soon as it gets to operating temperature: The bike will stall at times when the clutch is pulled in.
There is a smell of fuel present and is only present near the top of fuel tank, there is no signs of fuel leaking anywhere.
Last is after about 30miles of normal miles with no hard runs the fuel tank is now only half way full.
Sorry it is a lot but I am new to this brand and love every other aspect of the bike, any help would be great.

When you say half full are you looking in the tank ? It's really really hard to tell how much is left by looking even after owning one of these for 10 years.

From full expect to get about 100miles before the fuel light comes on, fill up ASAP after that anymore than 25 miles and you are likely to be pushing it...

Stalling - probably needs a decent service/setup doing.

You in the USofA ? Then the carbon canister thing is probably causing the fuel smell, I'll let one of the guys from there tell you about that.

+1, download the manual , if you do your own maintenance , and service the bike. That way you can establish a base line. Otherwise you might be chasing your tail trying to sort it out. The carbon canister is also known to cause all kinds of running issues if it fails.

Ended up taking the bike back to the selling dealership, they had it at their facility for a week and couldn't find anything. It is being delivered back to me tomorrow night. They said the the carbon canister was well as all other fuel related items. I will report back after a few days and if it happens again i will do a tear down of the bike this weekend. Thank you to all for the feedback that was provided

On a 2007/2008 910R, what was originally delivered with the bike?

I thought a cd, small booklet, how many keys?

It's better to burn out then to fade away
