Certainly on my 05 F4, there is no switch to be able to turn the lights off, therefore that light is always on .......

Thanks for confirming. Reason I asked is I've ridden several other bikes and none has constant green light showing on dash.

The original European bikes had a headlight on-off switch......just a hold over.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Mine too. We have hard wired lights here in Australia so turn the switch to off position.

Wow! All these years I thought that light meant go. If the blue light doesn't mean clear skies, I don't want to know.

When I got mine I thought why the heck do I need a light on all the time that tells me that errr the lights are on all the time (cant turn mine off) and it annoyed the hell out of me so I pulled the dash apart and put a small black sticker over that LED and blacked it out. Voila! no annoying light. Much nicer now.
