Underseat charger plug

So, I understand per this documents and FAQ section, that the plug under the seat is for a charger. I did not get a charger with my bike.

Anyone know where to purchase? I could wire a battery tender but I'd like to use the one provided if possible.

The provided chargers are not the best, by a long shot, best to get a better quality one, have a look in the Maintenance section, lot's of info on this topic.

The one supplied with mine was shite. Put out over 17 volts. Find a decent one or better still ride it regularly. My battery is 3 1/2 years old and still o.k. Ride her 4-5 times a week for work and pleasure. Even makes going to work fun, least 'till I get there!

Cheers

+1

I use the weakest Ctek "XS 0.8" on a daily basis for last 5 years (even in summer if I assume that I will not use the bike for more than a few days in a row).
Before Brutale I used it on the Aprilia V2 990 Rotax engine, which is known to require a good voltage for starting. No problems at all.

Btw, Ctek has a good range of accessories, although I personally use only THIS (as a power supply for navigation on longer trips or charging a cell phone).

Thanks folks. I have two battery tenders for other vehicles. Was thinking of using the factory but if it's not good then go with what I have used and link. Thanks again.
Battery Tender brand cycles also. I have used for over a few years with my other vehicles.

Yes, they have.
I fitted this "Comfort indicator Panel" to make it an easy job to plug in the charger whenever I leave the bike in the garage.

...just for one day.

Sir, may i ask how you accomplished this clean install of the charger plug in? I just purchased the same unit and was wondering if that carbon piece is a custom one off?
Thank you.
