Hi, I had a training day on the bike yesterday and got to tryout the braking on the bike. Rear brake only. Front brake only. Combined braking. The idea being to get feeling of brake performance to lockup of rear break, and maximise dip in forks. Understand how the bike moves and performs. I felt the rear ABS engage on using rear only - it was very smooth, gentle, pulsating feel, unobtrusive. The bike felt very stable.
Having had rear break lock ups on my Ducati, I'm very happy to have ABS on the Brutale, it is very confidence inspiring.
