Difference between S and R model

I wonder if anyone can tell me the difference between a S and R model Brutale?

In my youth you went to the library. Now you just "google it".

Basically it is suspension, brakes, and wheels. Also different color choices. In 07 the R also came shipped with a race exhaust and chip. The 08 R does not, hence the lower difference in price. As Randerosa told you find a good dealer. It should be enjoyable to deal with them before the sale and there should be good service after the sale.

I like Motorcycle center in Villa Park, IL. Talk to John or Geoff 630-782-2201. I have bought Ducati, Triumph, and MV from them. I am sure you can find a good dealer near you also.

Quite frankly some of the best deals seem to be the ones listed in the classifieds on this board. Good prices, usually nice upgrades, and they are being sold either because of a life crisis or because their owners want to own every great ride there is but unfortunately can not own them all at the same time.

From the MV website:
The Brutale 910R is fitted with state-of-the-art technical systems worthy of a competition machine. This is clearly seen in the braking and suspension systems that differ from the 910S as follows:

Brembo P4/34 radial brake calipers.
Aluminum 320mm Brembo discs
Radial caliper strut
Marzocchi USD 50 mm R.A.C. forks (Road Advanced Component)
Brembo forged Aluminum wheels with Y spokes
Racing exhaust with specialized Eprom
New hand-polished inlet ducts

And don't forget the red valve cover!
