04 Brutale Value?

I know a dealer that has a left over 2004 Brutale 750S, still new with no miles. What would be a fair price for such a bike?

I think you could get a low mile used '04 for ~$9k. So new $10k with no fees would be a good price in my view. Great bike...go for it!

I didn't know Florida has a charge when you buy a bike out of state and finance it through the dealer, they give you temp plates but you get your permanent plates in the mail, rather than the old fashioned way of doing it all yourself. Kinda bogus if you ask me.

But my bike was $11.4, $12.7 OTD with carbon bits, mid-pipe and a solid service record...well, as much service you get up to 1300 miles. But yeah, I didn't fare too bad....about average. But the staff there at Charlotte Triumph Ducati BMW....incredible.

Thanks for the info everyone. The dealer offered it to me for $10,600 plus a $68 doc fee. I'd have to pay sales tax in Washington when I registered it here, but that's unavoidable whether you buy it in state or out of state, they're gonna get their tax dollars one way or the other.

I offered him a cashiers check for $8,900 for it, and he apparently took it as an insult. It was what I was willing to pay. If he would have sold it for that, I would have gladly bought it.

I think I'm going to wait to see how things shake out with Guzzi and take a hard look at the Griso. The Brutale is without a doubt, about the sexiest bike I've ever seen though, and this group of enthusiasts is awesome.

$8.9k is a harsh bid . But no one should ever be insulted by a bid. Go MV...you will never regret the decision

Buy the MV!
I just got mine a little over a month ago for $11k new (2004) plus tax. If I were the dealer, I would have been a bit put off too--under $9k is harsh for a brand new bike he probably owes over 12k on.

That deems a new saying....

"Once you go MV, everything else is ugly...."

OK...so that was a bit lame, and nothing like the "once you go black...."

But it's true...you'll never look back once you get one...hell, I dunno of many people who have never ridden the bike, bought one, and are completely satisfied with every aspect of the bike they're riding, from the thrill you get, to the styling...it's a TRUE complete package....lets see somebody on a GSXR or CBR say that. At the very least, they're pissed everybody else owns the same bike
