My Brutale Has Arrived

After lusting for a Brutale for the past year or so, I finally found the bike I had been searching for ...... for sale on this site. I recently purchased MVITALIAN's (Mark) 2006 Brutale, and had it shipped to sunny California.

Mark had taken very good care of the bike from the beginning. He supplied all records, manuals, CD's, stands, etc. with the purchase -- this was a bike that he truly cherished and was passionate about. He had already installed a CF Rear Hugger, CF Instrument Cluster Cover, Clear Alternatives Brake Light and Turn Signal Lenses, Rizoma License Plate Hanger, and a CF Tail. He had also installed the MV Corse Race Exhaust, EPROM, and had the bike Dyno Tuned by Corse Superbikes in Wisconsin (they did an excellent job).

After spending a lot of time on this site, I was already pretty tuned in to what I wanted to do to the Brute when I received it. While waiting for the bike to arrive, I got busy on the internet ordering parts. Thanks to all who post on this site ..... your information served me well!

When the bike arrived, there were a few boxes of goodies waiting to be installed:

Gilles Rearsets, titanim finish
CF Air Intake Covers
CF Key Guard
CF Radiator Trim
CF Chain Guard
CF Swingarm Guard
CF Wire Covers
Arrow Titanium Steering Damper
CRG Lane Split Mirrors
Motovation Bar Ends (Vibration Dampening version)
Spencer Seat Modification

I am really happy with this bike.... the Brutale is a blast to ride, and is perfect for the crappy stop 'n go traffic we have here a times as it doesn't overheat. And when the traffic is clear - watch out! This thing screams! I couldn't stop grinning all week. Thanks to Mark who made this transaction as simple as possible. Thanks to Ben (Odonata) who helped me pull the tank to install the CF Air intakes. And thanks for information this site provided. Here's a few pics of the new Brute:

Nice Greg, helping you with this bike is going to cost me a lot of money... I am going to have a get one myself because I have caught a bad case of Brutale-itis.

Congrats again, I am very envious.

I think it's a "leash" or lanyard for the passenger seat, I think Greg might be able to post a picture here?

Congrats, very nice mods.
I dig the rearsets.

I would like to see the seat mod, whenever you have time, if you can post a pic.

The Spencer Seat Mod can be read about here:
http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showth...hlight=spencer

The CRG Lane Split Mirrors are great when used with the Motovation Bar ends that dampen the vibration so that the mirrors don't buzz out the vision on ya.
I got them from Motovation direct .... I think their website is:
www.motovationusa.com
