attn: 910r titanium exhaust owners.

I have an 07 910r and am thinking of purchasing the titanium exhaust. the 07 already comes with a race exhaust thats loud and sounds pretty damn good. i totally think the sound of the bike is part of the riding experience and if i can make the bike sound better it might be worht it to me. saving a few pounds helps as well but isnt as important to me.

when i put on my SS race exhaust, i had stalling issues. the problem was solved tuning the bike with the stock chip and not the race chip. the bike was in the shop for about 3 weeks to resolve this issue.

so my question is:

a) how do you compare the sound of the SS race exhaust VS. the tit. exhaust?
b) is it worth the extra $
c) are there reallly issues with stalling with this new exhaust?

thx in advance

a) dunno
b) Cost difference is relative, $1K to one person is $100 to another. Your going to find a spectrum of incomes on this board.
c) Stalling issues are not caused by any exhaust. They are usually attributed to TPS and CO% settings at idle. My 910S is very sensitive to TPS settings and has to be re-tuned frequently. Once tuned it never ever stalls and idle is rock solid but usually drifts in 6-8 months. At least that has been my experience.
