OK, OK, I'm convert and convinced on the brute now!

HI All,
Have had my brute for about 6 months and many of posts could discern I was VERY lukewarm on this bike so far with about 2500 miles on it.

Well this weekend rode it to Ducs Fly South from Columbus GA, about 220 miles, then rode up to Cherohala skyway that afternoon, another 180 miles. Then another couple hundred on Sat. and home today.

I love my tuono but Cherohala and this brute really shines, absolutely no comparison between the precise steering of the brute and my tuono, absolutely wonderful. Five minutes on Chero and even my mediocre riding ability I could tell this is truly a wonderful handling bike!!

I spent today and last Sunday in North GA and North Carolina mountains. I know my Brutale is much better than I am, which makes my rides that much better.
The last 1000 miles have been sweeet! Just wish I didn't have that 100+ mile freeway slog each way to get to the curves. But I put up with it for the fun once I get there.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Hmm, handling is so central to riding it's a wonder more folks don't voice their appreciation for this quality in the brute. Funny thing is, my brute shines in the handling too--I wonder why...

Good handling is good design. Thanks for the honest comment, Chris. (Sorry I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all guru. I just appreciate what you said.)
