1 month on my 910S and...

First off, I must say, without a doubt this is the best motorcycle I've ever owned or ridden! And I've owned and ridden plenty.

The scalpel-like corner carving, instant throttle response, awesome ergonomics, neck-snapping acceleration, and the head-turning accident-causing styling is unbelievable!

Everything about this bike feels so tight! There's no lag, no wallow, no hesitation, no play, no slack, and no forgiveness! I f'n love it! It responds and reacts immediately to even the slightest input- throttle, steering, braking, shifting, you name it...!

It's so confident inspiring and it begs for more! And then there's that howling sound....!

So my 910S leaked a little oil. Tightened up the oil pan bolts, done!

My headlight glass was a little loose. Took it off and resealed it, done!

My mirrors buzz a little. Who gives a [email protected]!

My mirrors view my elbows slightly. I move my arms in a little, done!

So the seat's a little firm. It feels fine to me!

And the suspension's a little firm. It feels fine to me!

It has an abrupt throttle response. So what, I already got used to it, not that bad!

Cramped ergonomics? What? This thing has the best seating position.....EVER!

I've read a lot of these complaints (on this forum) about this bike prior to buying and I'm so glad I bought into none of them! This bikes makes me smile and I'm in need of a larger helmet with more cheek room, I'm serious!

Things I've concluded:

The brakes are a little weak. EBC pads... more than fixed, awesome!

It's geared a little too short. 41T rear sprocket from eMoto, perfect!

That's it!

I'm so in love with this bike I can hardly stand it! I have no regrets and can hardly contain myself!

THE BRUTALE IS THE BEST BIKE EVER MADE!! There, I said it.

my sentiments exactly.
i might wish for better brakes, less buzz, more wind resistance, but then again it is the most fun i ever had on a bike, BAR NONE.

What a great post! My sentiments exactly. The rants around here get really old. Maybe you hear so much negativity around here, because those that love our bikes are ACTUALLY OUT RIDING!!!

+1 for loving my bike after a month of ownership!

After my first ride, I left most of the people I knew, including one of my grandparents, voice mail of the engine revving intermixed with me laughing hysterically.

After a month, everyone was really tired of my phone calls.

Hell, it's still the most awe inspiring thing I've got going for me right now.

Time is a delusion. Lunchtime doubly so.

+1 Vlad

I have been using mine (the second Brutale for me) since june, and the excitement about the bike has not even been lovered troughout the season. Normally after a season i would be thinking about what to ride next, but not with this one!! I still cant leave it after riding before i have made extra detours for hours, and other times when i have been able to park it on time, the damn thing gets me in the garage instead, keeps me there - looking at it - hanging with it - fixing stuff. I am still soo totally about it that i dont know how to deal with the oncoming winter..

Also 2nd Brute for me and the continues.
Everytime I ride the thing I feel alive, corner exits with a lofted wheel or headshake is living. The angry little bitch loves me back. And after a ride I'll sometimes still stare while enjoying a beer or two and think how lucky i am to own the best bike in the world!!!!!

V.D.

One has to make a motorcyle "theirs" to achieve that level of supersatisfaction that you have found.

I'm so glad to hear you did what ever you thought was necessary to make the bike "work" for you without first complaining to this board.

I don't have a Brut, but would if I "needed" another bike.

Enjoy your machine and now do a few cosmetic mods.

Congratulations and be safe, Peter

My only question is who paid you and how much to say all that? Judging by my experience with mine...oh wait, you did repeat almost every negative that's been said.

Some guys like fat women too!

Now I have to go do my expense reports so I can buy that new Tri-Color Ducati Monster.

Honestly, I'm glad you like it so much. Maybe someday I'll get that feeling back that I had when I first rode one.
