What mods are needed for my exhaust system?

Hello, I am Wolfgang from Vienna/Austria, I just joined today. I will introduce myself in a separate thread.

I have a 2003 Brutale 750S (w/o cat), only 2500mls on yet - I am first owner. Everything is stock.

Last week I found a race exhaust system on sale at a local MV dealer, it seems to be a Corse system in stainless steel (thats what the dealer said).

There was no EPROM included.

Back home, I replaced my collector box (dont know the name of this "pre-silencer" where later models had the cat in) with the link pipes supplied in the race kit, and left original silencers on since I prefer to stay not too loud. Airfilter is still stock as well. Now I notice a surge/flat spot at ca. 2,500 - 4,000 RPM.
Can anyone point me into the right direction of EPROM / Airbox / silencer combination? Does this link pipe only work with racing cans?

I am not after max peak power but rather more mid-range and driveability, and would prefer keeping stock silencers because of strict police controls here.

I wanted to go the PC3 route but was told PC does not support my model year, it is only offered from 2004 model onwards.
Is there a good EPROM you can recommend?

I would appreciate your experienced feedback.

best regards

Wolfgang

Your dealer can order an Eprom from MV Agusta SpA for the system You fitted to Your Brutie specifically for your bikes VIN.
Now the end cans are standard cans in my book according to the part numbers stamped into them.
The SS collector and mid pipes are SPP 000 3006.
Now the new Eprom is not the best thing out of the box and will might need some adjustments which Your dealer can do.
Speaking of TPS, idle speed and so on.

Looks like a nice deal on the stainless MV Corse exhaust !!!
You can use the Power Commander PC III on your bike. The one for the 2004 should also fit yours. I would do that before buying a chip.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Sorry the picture indeed shows my stock exhausts, not the Corse one I bought. The Corse are made by Lafranconi and have a MV part number stamped in as well
