800 RC front brake lever position

Just had bike delivered other weekend and first thing to do as usual is adjust all levers to suit me.

It has the Nissin m/c front brake lever and I can't turn it down enough without it flouting the fairing and severely restricting lock to lock movement. I realise that on track it's not a problem but this is also a road bike.

Dealer has suggested relocating the start button / engine kill switch to somewhere infront of the clocks (bracket would have to be made), enabling the brake lever clamp to slide along the handlebar towards the throttle and hopefully give me the clearance to turn the lever down a bit more (only another 10mm - it's just as i reach for the brake I'm having to reach up and over the lever slightly instead of reaching straight out onto the lever) - I do have them turned down quite low but as I'm a short rider I sit quite far forward so need them pointing down more.

Anyone else come across this problem and how did you resolve it?

Many thanks.

Mine was adjusted too low from the dealer so it scratched the fairing on the first day. This was the stock levers tho, not the RC included lever. Which lever do you use?

I adjusted the lever to a higher angle, and it has been perfectly fine since that. No problem using it.

Loud pipes don't save lives. Loud pipes just sound cool to egotistical riders like me

It's the Nissin lever and master cylinder that comes with the RC kit, I've adjusted it as low as it goes but would like it lower for comfort.
