Fuel Filter Alternative

Anyone know of a generic fuel filter that can be used on the F3. Seems like a common inline filter, but MV charge a fortune!

Thanks John,

So I see on Ebay they have the KL145 listed, but a separate listing for each make and brand of bike and different prices.

I see they had the F4 and B4 and the stradale listed. The stradale should be the same as the F3, same tank and pump? I dont see the F3 or B3 listed...

Im assuming that it is the exact same filter for each of the different bikes and that they list it separately for when you search for a specific model. Price difference being due to the different sellers and nothing to do with the filter itself. Therefore, is my assumption correct that it doesnt matter which model I order it for and that the cheapest one from reputable seller is best?

Plan to order this one:

I'm not 100% sure, but the KL145 definitely fits the F4's models up to 2010.

If you're not using your F3 at the moment, remove the current fuel filter fitted and check the Mahle part code on it before ordering a replacement.

The KL145 is also used on the 2010 and later F4s.

Some BMWs also use them if you have a specialist nearby.

You can use any Mahle/equivalent KL145 in any modern MV.

I think the ridge in the middle of the Wix filter will prevent it from being installed in late model MVs. The filter holder is full length.

After 12 years of no filter holder, now one is needed????

Neither my Aprilia RSVR or BMW R1150GS have them either......
