Rear dog bone clearance

I recently lowered my F3 of course after completing I noticed a slight gap between the swing arm and the connection of the dog bones. Im sure this is prob to accommodate rotation but it would it would give me piece of mind if some one can confirm this gap. In the pic you can see the new dog bone and the connection to the swing arm there is a small gap where the shadow is.

I did look this up in the shop manual and was not able to find anything specific.

New Site Garage
Not sure if that's how it's meant to be but if it bothers you put a washer in there to pack the gap. Needs to be slightly thinner than the gap and I'd go for something plastic (pactene etc.).
