The pin and spring are loose but it's hard to grab it. It took a while but succeeded after a while (and after a few beers )

Out of interest: The kit comes with a new cable, where did you hook that up to ? To the charge connector or to the tilt sensor?

The cable is connected to the diagnostic connector.

Ok, if you still experience problems with your gear indicator after that service bulletin please note there is another cable available!
Partnumber: 8000C0856 cablaggio adattatore marcia.

https://www.ricambi-mv.it/mvagusta-m...ione/8000C0856

The cable that comes with the original kit has a build in 12v to 5v converter. The cable i mention does not have a 12v 5v converter but grabs the 5v from the tilt sensor directly.

I had the kit installed too, and it worked good at first sight....but once the bike heats up the gear indicator still got loco. The 8000C0856 cable solves that.

Strange thing is, you won't find the cable in most oem suppliers like startwin. But it's available in some shops [google it]
I got mine from Home

Does it solve the issue for you ?
