2015 Brutale 800 RR.

I can use the quick shifter for up shifts just fine. However, I am not sure if the quick shifter is not working for down shifts or if I am doing it wrong.
Is there a technique for down shifts that I may be unaware of?

There is no technique... throttle closed and just hit the shifter ... it should automatically blip ever so slightly and go to next lower gear. Quick up is just staying on the throttle... hit shifter for gear up... throttle will automatically cut and it will go to next higher gear.

Make sure you have it set correctly in the menu as well. I've driven the dragster RR by the way... very easy to quick shift up and down.

That's what I figured as far as how to use it.
Shifting up is no problem.
I guess it is not functioning for down shifts so I'll have to get it taken care of under warranty.

Does the 2015 Brutale have an auto-blipper? As I understand it some MV models/years only have a QS for the up-shift.

“Quick Shift” function
Brutale models are equipped with a “Quick Shift” gear change system; this device enables you to upshift (or
downshift*) without pulling the clutch or changing the throttle control angle. This way, it is possible to change
into upper (or lower*) gears by keeping a constant acceleration and reducing shifting time to a minimum.
WARNING: The “Quick Shift” system is not available in the following conditions:
- when you change gear with the clutch lever pressed;
- when the vehicle travels at a speed lower than 30 km/h;
- if the gear lever is not in its proper starting position when changing gear.
Besides, when you are riding the vehicle with the engine revving high in a low gear, changing
gear without operating the clutch lever can cause abrupt reactions which can compromise
the stability of the vehicle. MV Agusta recommends to operate the clutch lever in all
the above circumstances, especially when the engine rpm is close to the rpm-limiter intervention
speed.
(*): Only for Brutale RR with mappings “Sport” or “Custom” with “Sport” rev limiter (see §4.4.9.).

Ah, I see what the problem may have been. I have it in custom mode with the throttle response in normal. I will try it in sport mode next time I am out.
Thanks.
