"Gas Position Fault"

Sun was out, so I finally got to take my baby out for the 3rd ride ever.

On the ride home, "Gas Position Fault" warning came on and the bike shut down.

Quick search on the net from my smartphone showed that if I let the bike sit, and then power her back up, the issue goes away (temporarily).

One thing I noticed, the most recent threads on forums Ive seen this issue mentioned was 2014. Supposedly the issue was fixed? Kinda odd that a 2016 model still would have the issue, no?

Is this something I need to worry about? Something that can be fixed? Or should I just chalk it up to Italian charm?

Wish List:
20 Aprilia RS 660 (track)
19 Ducati 959 Corse (street)
19 Husky Vitpilen (cafe racer)
20 Husky FE501S (dual sport)
20 Husky FE350 (enduro)
19 Yamaha Superjet (H2O)

17 Husky FC350 (MX)
16 MV Agusta F3 675 RC (mancave)

'96-'15... 19 other toys. Some I wish I still had. Others I'm glad are gone.

We're all here, but we're not all there.
