My F3 just failed

Hey guys I'm new to this site, i bought a 2014 f3 800cc back in december from a private seller. Everything was fine until 3/09/16 i was riding with friends and then noticed the front vibrating very odd. Then on the red light i held clutch all the way down in 1st gear and the bike was still tugging as if i were releasing the clutch to go. Then i turned it off then on rode it to where we were headed, adjusted the clutch lever to see if it was too close then it was okay for a bit but it was still feeling odd. I let the bike cool off for about 30 to 45 mins then went to meet some other friends then while riding as i reached about 20mph the bike just shut off in 1st gear and back wheel locked and slid. Controlled the slide then came to a stop and the bike now doesn't turn back on for anything and the bike was also stuck in gear. After a while i was able to get it into neutral and it still would not start. Please help. Do i need new clutch (plates, bleed the clutch line, etc.) Did my engine cease ?

Only a guess on my part, if your clutch was the first thing to act up, I would think you should check the clutch itself and see if something came loose in there. Everything else you mentioned would be pure speculation.
… might be a problem if you aren't into working on your own machines.

Good luck and be sure to let us know the outcome.

No it`s not, your words "Mmmm I'm not a very good mechanic". You wouldn`t even know what to check with the clutch plates. Take it to the dealer.

You bought an 800cc F3 as your first ever motorcycle!

What were you thinking and who is the that sold it to you.

Normally it's two years.

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Good advise. No one on a forum can diagnose the issues with your bike sight unseen. Have a good mechanic check it out. Could be any number of things. You'll be back in action in no time at all. Best of Luck!
