You must be kidding ! Have You ever seen a new MV Agusta before it was officially presented. We have nothing than rumours so far. They probably will not even start to build one before Fall 2007. But I wish You good luck on your quest.

Yes, the 312 is officially a 2008 model and the new design debuting at Milan in November is really just a rumor. I've heard nothing about it except for a what I've seen on this forum. Any thing on the Yahoo board?

On a side note, I know a lot of us are eagerly waiting for the new design but it occurred to me that, when a new design comes out, it will probably be around for at least five year and probably ten. So, there's no rush.

Since the 312 is a 2008 model, then shouldn't that mean that even if MV announces a new design, it'd be a 2009 model?

Doesn't make sense to have 2 different designs in 2008 right?

As much as I look forward to a new design, it would suck cuz my 312 just arrived!!!

That's what I thought too. This is just my guess. If they show the new design in Milan in November (as rumored), then it probably won't show up until the following year as a 2009 model (which is a 10 year run for the F4). Takes a couple of months to ramp up for production anyway.

But, playing the devil's advocate, why would you show a new design 8-12 months before release, which would kill demand for the current 312 models? Unless the 312 made in limited numbers. Then again, they did make the F4R for only 1 year.

Maybe they're pulling the same thing car makers do - previewing a concept bike first, then transforming the concept into a production model???

KTM did something similar with their RC8 right?

I think the aliens are going to come and take Tamburini away to design flying saucers

I doubt there will be a redesign of the bike's looks. There will be an uprated engine of course based on the WSBK prototype that is rumored to be testing in July this year?
