Seat Upgrade

I'm just checking in to see what seat upgrades some of you have done. The stock seat feels like I'm sitting on a brick. I've been eyeing two on Designcorse website. The leather option, and F4 Corse. Both would be black w/red stitching.

Do you guys know if this upgrade would provide any comfort, or just upgrade the looks? It'd be nice to have a solid combination of both.

They're just covers, you need more than that to get to comfort mate.

Any options on finding more comfort? I noticed DC has a full gel seat also, but I'm not a fan of the color scheme. If they a gel seat in black w/red sticking that'd be cool.

If you install the new replacement seat cover over the original seat , (leaving the original seat cover still on) this might give you a bit of extra padding...

Ask Ali at Design Corse whether this can be done... Or pm Ade on the IOM to see if he's ever done this suggestion in the past and if it worked..

I picked up a spare set of seats (1+1) so I can make custom leather covers without disturbing my stock seats. Upon taking off the stock cover, I was amazed to find that the main seat only has about 1/4" of foam padding! No wonder the seats feel like boards. I'm going to add a thin layer of foam under the new leather to see what effect it has. Fortunately, the seat covers are fairly easy to remove/install so some experimentation is likely to see what it takes to get some decent results.
