A Carbon Question

Has anyone fitted the Emoto carbon air tube covers on their F4. They do the non-recessed and the recessed. If you have fitted them, was it straight forward etc and did you use silicone. Cheers

What do you mean?
I think non recessed will look like the original ones but in carbon, just any others out there.

I bought the ones from emoto. And I hate and like them. They sure look nice but the are not the exact same as the one from MV. They have a lip that the stock ones dont. That lip has chipped the paint off of my front fender. When I told them they said I could get 15% off of a order but after my last experinces with them just left it alone. Here are what they did to my front fender.

Also, that chip is on both sides. It bottoms out on almost anything. If you look at the difference in the stock intakes verse the emoto carbon you see right away why my front fender is chipped to all hell. I hate when people start looking at the bike because the first thing they ask is what happened to your fender.
