Problem with STARTER RELAY. Need help

Hi fellas, seriously need some help here.

My bike F4 750 - year 2001
My mechanic here suggest I should replace the "STARTER RELAY" which is located on the left side of the frame.

The story is this:
3 weeks ago, I was riding and the speedo "battery" warning led started to lit up at a traffic light. I wanted to turn to my mech to check. After 10 minutes ridie towards the workshop, the "battery" warning light went off. So I decided not to visit the workshop till a later day and I proceed to ride on for another week with no problems.

The next week:
The "battery" warning light lits up again while riding on a highway. And it'll goes off after awhile. This time, I ride to my mechanic immediately and ask him to check on it.

The mechanic found the "STARTER RELAY" melted slightly and cause a fuse to melt and not providing enough electricity.
He replace a fuse and I goes off from the workshop and rode on the next 5 minutes. Then, the "battery" warning light comes on again. Again, I ride back to the workshop and check again. While riding to the workshop, the bike respond is very jerky as if it will go dead any moment. When reaching the entrance of the workshop, the digital meter display blink and then blank off and the bike cought its last breath and went dead!

The mech charge the battery and replace another fuse and advise me to replace the "STARTER RELAY". THis time I ride the bike for another 3 weeks and no "battery" warning lid till today!

Today, the bike stall at a traffic junction and I could not start anymore and have to call a tow to the workshop.
The mech replace a HONDA "STARTER RELAY", charge up the battery and I managed to ride off home sweet home.

I am trying to get help from our local dealer here in Singapore but they are not friendly and not willing to help.

Sorry for the long story.

1. Can any nice people here help me ship 1 unit of "STARTER RELAY" to my Singapore address ( I would pay for it )
2. Just ride on with the HONDA "STARTER RELAY" since it's only use for passing current and it'll not harm the bike.

Please advise.
Cheers!
Vince

You can try a dealer here in the US, I paid around $30 USD for a replacement starter relay.

Hi outtadaloop,
I am over here at Singapore.
There are hardly any MV here and the local bikeshop does not carry the parts and not helpful.

Wonder if you can help me get their email contact so I can ask them to ship 1 over. I shall get a picture of it before the purchase to verify the correct parts.

Cheers!
