Just joined the MV Club

Since I just joined the MV ownership realm..figgered I'd post a pic of my new bike here (wel new to me) so if ya see it out and 'bout you'll know it's me!

I bought the bike from a friend for a great deal....under 10k

2000 F4 - 7k miles - serial # 007
Painted Ferrari yellow
Gold Anodized Pipes
Suede seats..( in Florida..don't ask)
Gilles Titanium rear sets
PC III
and what I am told by the dealer looks like an 800cc stroker kit of some sort....

Being new to the realm, I think it looks good.....what do you guys think?

A very warm welcome to MV Agusta.net mate. Colour is a very personal thing, but for me Yellow is not a option on an MV that I would choose. I have to agree with you though, it is different.

I wonder what the displacement kit entails?

I think it involved replacing the head and pistons.....the mechanic noted that the head color was different from the engine base...that why he thinks that it has a displacement upgrade. Supposedly there is some bore kit that increases displacement to 800 something for racing

Welcome aboard! I like the yellow. I'm not strong on the silver stripes or the yellow centers on the wheels. Bike looks great and it sounds like a good deal as well.

I too took the plunge 24 hrs. ago. Picked up an '07 F41000R in Pearl/Black from Pro Italia. After 120 miles, I have only one word; *&%^#$!!! Now if someone could please refer me to a plastic surgeon who might help me with the huge grin that I've not been able to remove from my face. It hurts. Maybe if I head back out for a really quick ride and lift my face shield...nah, that'd probably just make it worse. Worth a try, right? I'll let ya'll know if it works.
