Unhappy Engine hunting at idle

F4 1000R, since the 600 mile service the engine hunts during the warming up period and on occasions whilst hot at idle, once off the idle it's OK any suggestions

They tend do do this worse with open silencers and too rich an idle mixture, 4%co is too much for an R, they're better around 2.5%co

MV's all gone now, still have a soft spot for MV's, waiting for MV to tick all my boxes again.

Mine idled decent at 4.5% CO but the bottom to mid felt a little on the lean side. I richened the mixture a little bit (idle trim from -13 to -9) and it feels a bit better in the bottom end there. I am guessing I am around 5% CO since I didn't recheck it. It hunts a bit when cold and seems to get better when warm but still occasionally hunts. ON-OFF throttle behavior is much better a little richer and the bike seems to make more power where it is at.

Do you have Rg3's Rob?

Mine feels stronger at 4% co, but just hunts at idle, I suspect a dyno set up of my PC would sort it though

I'm using the Gunston gastester. You have to sniff at the midpipe bung in order to get repeatable results.
