clock,trip set

I have not gotten my manual in yet from the dealer. So how do I set the clock and reset the trips. I know how to cycle through them but can not figure the rest out I have tried different things but nothing works.

Once the bike is runing , press and hold the start button. When the display begin to blink...release and press to move to next screen. Kinda scared me the first time, pressing the starter when the bike is running. A good source for live manuals is http://www.buzzwordenabled.com/mv/

Manuals on the left side of this page.

Good luck!!

trip meters are easy to re-set
the method to set the clock is quirky and NON-intuitive
i've had to set the clock so INfrequently, that i always forget how without referring to the manual

good luck

When you are on the one you want to reset.
1. hold till it blinks
2. release.
3. then hold again, till it goes to 0 (about 1 second)

the clock is harder.
1. to start press the black button on the dash.
2. your on your own , but you'll get it trial and error. (use starter button again)
