MODDED MY EXHAUST, and it sounds GREAT!!!

hi guys, so i modded my exhaust yesterday, cut it open, removed 2 pipes from within, and welded it back shut, and polished the cans, and i have to say, i was afraid to turn my bike on, i thought it would sound like, shit, but let me just say one thing. LAMBORGINI!!!!! well not quite, but it sounds amazingly good for a free exhaust mod. oh and i repacked the baffles (pipes inside the tips with holes on it and a spring) with fiberglass insulation very tightley so it doesnt sound clinky, very nice results, ill post some pics, but i didnt have time to take alot of pics, sorry, oh and the man in the pic doing to welds and the grinding of the welds, is my uncle not me.

i would love to, but i dont have anything to record quality sound on. but i took the bike to pro italia today to get the full service done, and the guy said it sounded 95% like a rg3. that made me feel good. on the freeway the sound is very deep and nice, not too loud like a jap bike with a yosh, but a deeper sound like a lambo, but a lil quieter.

Nice, I too have a stock modded exhaust...Not sure what was done to mine as it was already modded when I got it and though I tracked down the company that did they wouldn't tell me what was done other than the gas flow was now straight out. I'll have to do something about posting a sound clip so we can see how they compare.

3-4 hours, but we were taking our time, and eating lunch in between, and we also ran out of gas on the mig welder and had to go get a refill, so if i had to do one now, 2-3 hours.
