Anybody have this problem??

My new F4 seems to be making a noise that sounds like a lifter. Not very loud, but enough that I can hear it. Dealer says it's a normal Fuel Injector noise. Does anyone agree with this??

Hard to say with out hearing it. My MV makes lots of noises that sound like all kinds of things. At times I'd swear the cam chain, drive chain, valves, fuel pump, tires, forks, shock, seat unit ect all are making a noise they should not be. But everything is always fine when I check it out. So I would not be too concerned.

^^agreed, with a new bike, your ears are atuned to all manner of noises, it goes with the new ownership thing! You will soon start to develop an ear for what is good noise vs a problem

Not entirely sure what you mean by sounding like a lifter, but if I am on the same wavelength with you - are you referring to sound the front brakes make when you engage them? Do you notice you only hear it when braking/stopping?

No..it's an engine noise. You know, kind of a ticking, like a loose lifter. Keeps pace with the rev of the engine.

You might try checking to see if your spark plug wires are on tight. If they are lose the spark may arch causing a ticking sound. Just a thought...
