Think I want an F4 again

been thinking about getting another F4, 750 would do me.... I miss mine It was top fun bike, not really getting on that well with my 910R as think the Mar.... front forks are far too stiff for our quite frankly crap roads.... and my internal organs would like to stay in the postions they were born in how new can I get with Showa front forks?

If you problem with the 910R is the stiff fron you just have to setup the preload and compression or (which is likely) get some experts to install the right springs for your weight and do a revalve

+ 1 Tiago, but I wouldn't be without my F4 Juan and I will ride the bloody thing for as long as my body allows me to do so.

Maxton would sort you out cheaper than the hit on selling your 910R. Think they might know a bit on setup for the Island.

Question

Juan, sorry for thread hijacking, but for someone like me who has never ridden a Brute what's it like compared to the F4? Is it just the same machine with high bars or are there other more subtle differences?

They sorted mine out, we have a real 'world' test road that we use in N Wales, it's the road from Ruthin to Cerrigydridion (that doesn't look right?) and it has everything, 14 miles of bumpy and twiddly, then opens out into quick stuff, I reckon if a bike goes down there OK it will work anywhere.

My 'R' and 'S; before it were crap down it, the kind of crap that makes you want to get off the bike at the end of the road and just push the f*****g thing over but thanks to Maxton I can now go down there with the best of em! (read, 'like a twat')

MV's all gone now, still have a soft spot for MV's, waiting for MV to tick all my boxes again.
